Anthropy founder, John O’Brien MBE, describes the event as a ‘launchpad for change’ that will offer an opportunity for an ecosystem of leaders from all sectors to share thinking in order to create ambitious and progressive solutions to the challenges facing the nation.

O’Brien said: “Anthropy arose out of a recognition of the challenges that the pandemic presented both economically and socially, and the need to move past our traditional fault lines and silos to embrace inclusive longer-term thinking to create a new vision for Britain.

“We are so thrilled to have Blakeney on board as a partner. As the UK’s largest ever crowd-sourced agenda, we rely heavily on the generosity of organizations like Blakeney, and the event just would not be possible without them.”

Anthropy will cover all manner of issues ranging from sustainability, education, health, and the built and natural environment, to the arts, sport, media and technology. 1,000 executives, policymakers and thought leaders will address the four fundamental questions shaping the future of Britain:

  • What is the quality of life we wish to see in Britain over the next thirty years?
  • What qualities of place and planet do we need to achieve this quality of life?
  • What qualities do we wish to see in a good economy and in the best of businesses?
  • What qualities do we want to express to the world, to help solve shared issues?

Dozens of luminaries from a wide cross-section of British business, academia and civil society are contributing to the event’s expansive agenda, including:

  • · Sir Tim Smit, Founder, Eden Project
  • · Ben Page, Global CEO, IPSOS
