We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Account Director to join our fast-growing team. This role will work across both our Corporate Communications and Impact (sustainability/ESG) practices.

- Considerable experience in corporate communications, with time spent working in an agency desirable
- Interest and experience in sustainability/ESG, having worked with or for clients in this space
- Cognisant to ESG compliance and reporting requirements and plugged into the wider debates in this space
- Strong track record of client nurture, partnership & counsel
- Exceptional writing skills and a keen eye for detail, delivering excellence for clients
- Excellent organisational skills – with experience of multi-tasking, managing client accounts, working to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Great research skills
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, with experience delivering cross-channel communications strategies. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have a thirst for understanding the business landscape, current affairs, media and politics, applying your knowledge to your work to ensure our clients are aware of relevant trends and issues
- Be comfortable with and have experience of new business networking, proposals and pitching
- Be willing and able to help shape our company and the way we do business
- Have a desire to progress and grow your leadership skills, to become a future leader within the agency
- Be self-confident, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Have a friendly, fun demeanour, balanced with first-rate professionalism
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing accounts on a day-to-day basis, across our Corporate Communications and Impact practices, with a focus on account set-up, deliverables and client excellence
- Developing and executing client strategies and plans which reflect their objectives and budget, as well as the needs of their stakeholders and the wider operational context
- Nurturing a collaborative partnership with clients, their teams and broader internal stakeholders
- Managing client budgets, including scoping, tracking and forecasting, ensuring profitability and growth
- Seeking out and pitching for new business, both from existing and new clients, to grow the Corporate Communications and Impact practices
- Working closely with agency team members across the business; with Directors to provide client counsel; and managing client account colleagues with a focus on delivery
- Developing junior team members, coaching and mentoring them to become high performing individuals; identifying skills and development needs
