This is the spirit in which we set up Blakeney Impact at the latter end of 2023, to support those organisations, companies and individuals who are committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We recognised that existing approaches to climate communications have fallen short of the urgency required and often resulted in more polarisation around approaches to tackle the challenge, rather than a consensus on common goal.

With the rise in greenwashing, greenhushing and sustainability fatigue, it’s clear that we need a fresh, considered approach to climate communications – one with Net Positive Thinking at its centre.

Blakeney’s Net Positive Thinking draws on the Net Positive Project established by Forum for the Future, the Climate Group and WWF, recognising that sustainability, equity, resilience and inclusion are integral to commercial success.

Our team is made up of committed individuals with broad range of experience: climate journalists, policy experts and digital and brand creatives, brought together by a passion to use communications to help the world meet its climate responsibilities and to grow the green economy.
