We are currently looking for an outstanding Director who has a great understanding of the world’s media, to join our award-winning integrated communications team & work across a range of clients. You will be part of a close-knit team comprising former special advisors, party staff, civil servants, researchers, journalists, and campaigners. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of leading a growing team and help high-profile organisations build their corporate communications programmes, taking them to the heart of policymaking and the news agenda.

You will:

As Director, you will be a well-rounded and skilled corporate comms professional with a great balance of running teams, creating, and leading client accounts and delivering industry-leading results across various sectors and platforms. We are especially interested in meeting with people who have a strong media focus to their career so that they both deliver tangible coverage for our clients and internally influence our team to be media focused.


The Director role is varied - core skills include:

  • A creative approach to political and media relations, with a strong track record in devising and implementing communications strategies
  • The ability to lead complex, fast-paced and impactful client programmes
  • Lead and develop close relationships with senior clients, lead external client meetings and shape effective client strategies
  • Provide strategic advice to clients, write bespoke policy/media briefings, and develop your policy/sector specialisms
  • A continual focus on new business and organic growth - taking a leading role in pitching and developing proposals
  • Excellent writing and presenting skills
  • Team mentorship and management


Specific Media Relations requirements:

  • Demonstrative evidence of an excellent news sense, creative and tenacious in your approach to identifying stories and newsworthy angles and pitching to media
  • Passionate about current affairs and highly knowledgeable about the media landscape
  • Experienced media relations operator with proven success and relationships across tier one and vertical targets
  • As comfortable with strategy and planning as activation and capable of guiding clients and teams to deliver outstanding coverage results
  • Love working with clients across a range of sectors, developing activities and campaigns to engage target audiences through relevant media targets
  • Ability to develop integrated campaigns/approaches across earned and owned
