About you

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Digital Associate Director to join our fast-growing team.

Reporting to the Digital Director, this role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of high-impact digital strategies and content. The successful candidate will drive engagement through compelling digital storytelling, overseeing content creation, performance optimisation, and multi-channel campaigns.

This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both strategic oversight and practical execution. The Digital Associate Director will manage the end-to-end production of digital content, including social media, video campaigns, paid media, website development, and design briefs, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with creative, technical, and client teams will be key to delivering innovative and effective digital solutions.

A strong understanding of digital and Social Media best practices is essential, alongside expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and campaign performance analysis. Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Innovation

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, ensuring innovation and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital efforts with wider marketing and business goals.
Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
 

Campaign Management & Performance

Oversee planning, execution, and optimisation of digital campaigns (paid media, SEO, content, social, CRM, etc.).
Analyse and interpret performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Manage digital budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Implement testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) to enhance performance.
 

Team & Client Leadership

Lead and mentor the wider team on all things digital, contributing to Blakeney’s culture of development, growth and innovation.
Act as a key point of contact for clients/stakeholders, ensuring high standards of delivery.
Present insights, reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
 

Technology & Innovation

Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to enhance digital marketing efficiency.
Ensure effective use of digital and Social Media tools (Google Analytics, Paid Platforms, CRM, Campaign, Data, Community Manangement etc.).
Identify and integrate new tools and technologies to drive digital excellence.
Video production and editing a bonus, but not required.

Key Skills & Experience:

6+ years of experience in digital communications with a focus on strategy and execution.
Proven ability to manage large-scale campaigns across multiple digital channels.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Expertise in paid media, content creation and digital optimisation.
Leadership experience, with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
Experience with digital tools.
