Former journalist Piers Scholfield leads Blakeney’s climate communications practice and works across its portfolio of clients, advising on media strategy.
He spent 17 years at the BBC, beginning his career with the BBC World Service, before becoming a producer in Washington, Output Editor on Newshour, Senior Europe Producer and Africa Producer.
Piers went on to hold roles at NBC News and Sky News, where he launched the Daily Climate Show – the UK’s only daily news programme dedicated to the crisis – and the weekly Climate Show with Tom Heap.
