I am Tracey-Anne Green, HR & Operations Manager at The Blakeney Group. I have been with the company for over 12 months and look after the operational day-to-day side of Blakeney ensuring our people, processes and operations work as they should.

Before joining Blakeney, I worked across a wide range of sectors including AI marketing, estate agency, IT, pensions and manufacturing. I originally trained in hospitality before moving into administration, and that breadth of experience has shaped a practical, organised and solutions-focused approach to how I assess candidates.

When I screen applications, I focus on three things.

  1. Genuine Interest in Blakeney

The strongest candidates show they have researched us — our public affairs and corporate communications work, the sectors we operate in, and the political and regulatory landscape affecting our clients.

Tell me why Blakeney. Not just why you want a new role.

  1. Evidence of Impact

Responsibilities are expected. Impact is impressive.

What changed because of your work?
What influence did you have?
What results did you deliver?

Clear, outcome-focused examples always stand out.

  1. Cultural Fit

We value curiosity, commercial awareness, strong writing and a collaborative mindset.

How you present your CV and structure your application already gives insight into how you think and communicate — which matters in our environment.

How to Apply Successfully: A Quick Guide

1. Do your research. Understand our sectors and the political context our clients operate in.
2. Tailor your CV. Highlight relevant experience and measurable results.
3. Keep your cover note focused. Why Blakeney? Why this role? What do you bring?
4. Show commercial awareness. Policy and politics sit alongside business strategy.
5. Prepare properly for interview. Use structured examples and demonstrate curiosity.
