Francesca Gallagher, a Senior Account Manager at Blakeney, has joined the Executive Committee of Women in Public Affairs.
Francesca has joined the events team of the growing organisation and will play a leading role in organise a range of events throughout the year focused on everything from industry-specific training, to ‘In Conversation’ events with women within the world of politics and public affairs, to informal networking opportunities.
Welcoming the news on LinkedIn, Francesca wrote:
“Now a network of 2,500 members, WiPA has been so valuable to me since starting my career, giving me the opportunity to network with likeminded individuals and putting on events that have helped me develop both my skills but also confidence in the workplace.
“It's an honour to now sit on the Committee and help shape plans for 2025”.
Francesca is a public affairs specialist with experience across a range of sectors, including energy, technology, and other highly regulated industries. With a background in political research, Francesca helps Blakeney’s clients to understand the policy and political context they’re operating in, as well as the potential opportunities they have with policy makers.
